This is an advertising poster for a Mia Concert that was produced on early 2009. This is an example of pop art because it follows the themes and guidelines of what pop art should: of an icon (Mia -singer), block bright colour, black out line and it uses the black dots within the background. This poster includes words and its as if its in the form of a comic strip so it is linked to pop art because a lot of the pop art includes comic strips, overall it takes the general form of pop art. The poster is great and extremely eye-catching.

I love this image - it's a great example of contemporary Pop Art. You could think of doing something similar when we move towards completing your final piece.
